Waynesboro  Community Church

 In March 1988, with a vision to evangelize locally and globally, a few families began a faith community of Jesus Christ. Since then our newly birthed Waynesboro Church has been blessed abundantly by God, which includes 17 acre of land (purchased in September 1989) and a beautiful sanctuary built in October 1994. As a multi-cultural community, we have equipped and sent over 250 lay leaders to do God's ministry, including U.S. Military personals and their families, to various locations around the world. It is our joy to witness these Christians working to broaden the Kingdom of God.

Moreover as a people who live and die for Christ, whose focus is on the God who is the author of creation and history, we continue to strive to be a community who are equipped with the Word and spirit to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to all people and nations. We are a worshipping church where both first and second generations are gathered and people of all colors and cultures are welcomed to build a strong faith community.

During last 8 years, we have been serving many people through our Retreat center ministry. Camp Grace, which opened in June 1997 following two years of earnest prayers. With this ministry, we have served a countless people from churches around this area, Washington D.C. area, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina areas by providing a peaceful place to worship, pray, and commit and renew their hearts to God. Through the retreat center ministry, we have to confess that we not only served others to rest and recreate in God, but also have been served by being shaped into a serving church, and an unceasingly praying church.

As we celebrate our 16^th year, we have plans to broaden our ministry through church cemetery apartment units for elderly, and center for spirituality. We continue to pray and seek God's guidance and we ask people who see God's vision in our church to come and work with us.
